Bad Kitty Cat Festival of Chaos Bachelor Kitties Edition!

We has a great and fabulous selection of kitty cat badness for the Festival today! We are truly thrilled to be hostin' for the first time with all these kitties writin' such wonderful stories for us!

Now...*ahem*...let's get started!

Because we are gentleman bachelor kitties, we will start with the ladies first:

Vera Lang is going to tell us all about Introducing a New Kitten to Your Older Cat over at Fine Pet Care .com. We bets it says somethin' bout givin' your cats treats in there somewhere, like those delicious temptashuns, right?

Then we has the lovely Debra, who's glad that it is Finally Friday, posting alongside the kitties without tails over at the MANX MNEWS.

Speaking of tails, Parker is swappin' tails and tellin' stories with his Tattle Tail Tuesday, perfectly posted at Perfectly Parker.

Then back to the ladies, as Kelly Cat goes old school with Traditional Friday Cat Blogging: Miss Caitie, and you know It's all Good.

TT&TOT Gang has a Friday post, too, called Finally Feline Friday: The Cats Came Back, at the aptly named This That & The Other Thing blog.

Dolphin, who had better be careful with a fishy name like that round all of us kittehs, rounds out our Friday-type posts with Feline Friday from the Dolphin's Dock.

Next we has Andrée making us laff with the LOL Cat Bible: Lectionary Readings for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost posted at meeyauw.

Mighty special Mog treats us with a triple threat:

We're Bad, Bad, Bachelor Kitties!

We are very 'cited to announce that we is hosting the Bachelor Kitties edition of the

Kitty
Cats
Festival
of
Chaos
tomorrow! We already has submissions from several speshul kitties what has been bad, and we've been trying to live up to the bad kitty cat label by shredding everything in sight and tripping up Mom and Dad and sneakin' in the bathroom and drinkin the cool water from the big Porcelain Water Bowl and stuff! You don't has to be a swingin' single bachelor or bachelorette kitteh to join the festival, neither. Come on by!

P.S. Mom is giving away a Nintendo DS Go Pet Vacation Island on her blog. Maybe your beans would like to win it.

Who Are Dese Orangey Kittehs, Anyway?

Once, we were just two scared little kittens, clinging to our mother. We must have been very poor, because we weren't very clean or healthy and we had (this is so embarrassing) worms and stuff. We lived day-to-day, and we both remember being very hungry, all the time.

It seemed like we were barely old enough to walk when we were taken away from our mother and brought to a strange place, with lots of other cats (and big scary dogs!). We didn't know why, or what we had done. This place became known to us only as the Shelter.

So, there we were: at the Shelter, in a cage, cuddled together, keeping our spirits up and waiting for a chance to escape, not knowing what else to do, when a surprising new face came to see us.

She smiled at us, and looked us over without poking her fingers in our faces. She made sure our itchy ears were cleaned and those embarrassing worms were taken care of. And she didn't put us back into the cage.

Instead, she took us to a new, totally different place. A place where we have lots of food to eat and fresh water to drink. A place where there's always clean litter. Where there are toys to chase and soft places to sleep.

And we learned a new word.

That word is, "Home."

We are Colby and Cheddar. And this is our story.
