Um...hi, efurrybody. I'm Fancy. I'm the new kitty over here at the Cheezits.
I'm really not a bad kitteh, I promise! I just need a new home.
See, I had a home, and then my 'family'...well, they moved. Without me and my brother. They just left us at the shelter. *sigh* And then, my bruvver got 'dopted, but I didn't, and I was by msyelf.
But when the Cheezits' Mom saw me, she said, "You need bruvvers. I know some bruvvers dat need a sister, too!" So she took me home wif her, and I'm very grateful.
Cause I even hab a head cold right now, and by nose is stuffed ub, and I have to take the icky medicine, and I was feeling kinda down all by myself, all sick and missing my bruvver and stuff. I was really lonely. So I'm real happy to have a new home! And I been tryin' real hard to make furriends wif the Cheezits.
Except I don't think the Cheezits want me here furry much. I hasn't even growled at them, but boy have they growled and hissed at me! And Colby even swatted at me a couple times. I'm trying to keep my cool and let them know that I don't want to make trouble, but it's hard! So, if you have any advice for me and Mom and the Cheezits, dat would be great!
Oh, and I know's you are the Cheezits' furiends, but could you maybe please be my furiend, too? I could sure use some.
Thanks,
Fancy

Hey welcome, pretty little one! It takes a little while for your new siblings to accept you, but they will. Just be patient
Hi Colby and Cheddar, thanks for visiting. You have a beautiful little sis there. Be nice to her, I am sure you will.
Ohh Fancy you iz just beautiful, how could we not be your friend too?!??!
When Momam first got me, she kept me in a different room for a wee and would keep bringing stuff that had my smell on it out for my sister to sniff, the next week she would go in and cuddle me but leaves the door open so she could hold me but let my sister come in and has a sniff around.
!/2 way through the second week she just lets me out, I loved Mushka but she would be scarded at me, sok though.. she was just sorting out who was boss.
If it sounded really bad likez someone would get help momma would intercede otherwise she just let us work it out.
Just has patience Fancy it seem slikez forever but you will bez snugglin and licking befores you know it :)
Hi Fancy, it's nice to meet you. We will be your friends too.
Will you tell Colby and Cheddar that our book has arrived, thank you very much.
Fancy of course we'll be your furiend! Don't worry you and Colby & Cheddar will be great furiends in no time!
Your FL furiends,
Hiya Fancy! Give it time...I didn't like Buddah when he first got here. Actually, I still don't. But we can be civil to each other most of the time, and once in a while we even play. The noisier the game, the better!
Hi ya, Fancy! It's so nice to meet you! I'm a black cat too! You sure are lucky to have found a home with 2 brothers like the Cheezits! Right now it may seem like they don't like you, but give it time...they should come around.
When I came to the Island to live, mom kept me separated from Wally in another room. Then after a few days, she used a baby gate between us so that we could see each other and sniff each other and get use to each other. Treats work wonders too! Another idea is to take an old sock and have your mom rub it all over you and then rub that same sock over the Cheezits so that they can get use to your smell.
Just give it some time...I'm sure the Cheezits will be your friends!
Ernie
Hi Fancy, we'd be furry pleased to be yoor frend. Did yoor mom try da old "towel rub"? Yoo know, where da beans rub one towel on all of yoo and den leave it fur each one to sniff? It took almost a month afore Sadie and Zippy could even stand to see each other and den Zippy still hissed but den dey just kinda started ignoring each other.
Hi Fancy, you are one sweet little kitty and I'm very happy that you have a nice home with new brothers. I think the sock and towel rubbing ideas above are really good. Gradual introductions usually work the best I think. Good luck!
G'day Fancy, Welcome to the blogosphere! It's nice to meet you. You've had a rough time lately, so we're glad that you found a great place to live. We'll purr that you keep getting well, and then once you're over the nasty germs, you can hang out with the lads.
It sounds like you and Colby and Cheddar are just going through normal 'getting to know you' stuff. We had to be separated completely at the beginning, and were then gradually allowed to hang out together.
You guys just need to get used to each other in your own way, but the ideas about the towel and sock sound good.

Hi Fancy! You sure are pretty. I would love to be your friend. Do not worry, it can take a few weeks until a new cat will be accepted. But Colby and Cheddar are nice boys, so I am sure they will come around.
Hi Fancy! You are just beautiful! Don't worry, the Cheezits will accept you! They are just being boys at the moment. We really hope that your cold gets better. We are so happy that you have a Forever Home. You are certainly in a great one! Three Cheers for the Cheezit's Mommy......adopting a kitty in need!!!
We will all be honored to be your friend!
Hi Fancy! We would love to be your friends!! If you are feeling better tommorow, please come by and Meow Like a Pirate with us on our pirate ship. It will be lots of fun and you can meet lots of other kitties there too!
Oh, a purrty panther girl! You've gotta join the House Panthers. E-mail us @ kch917 @ sbcglobal.net if you'd like us to send you an invitation. Don't worry, those nice boys will get to like you soon. We have a problem bringing new kitties in because of Grr - she's very aggressive and dislikes any girl kitties in her house except me (I'm her littermate sister). And Cocoa is very territorial about other boy kitties being around, but we've all managed to adjust. It just takes time. Sometimes lots of time.
purrs!

Hello beautiful Fancy!
I sure am glad the Cheezits' Mom found you! I know the boys will start being nice soon. Our Momma heard if you put a tiny bit of vanilla on everyfur's ear, it will help introductions. Something about everyfur smelling the same.
It's been nice meeting you and Welcome to the Blogosphere family!!
~ Gracie and The Bunch
Welcome Fancy,
You will do fine. You have a family that will love you very much. Just get better so you can be yourself with your new brothers.
Carmela and Moe
Hi Fancy,
We're so happy that you have a new home where you will be loved! We're sure that the boys will adjust - it may just take a little time.
Your new friends,
Charlemagne and Tamar
Hi Fancy! You have a great new home and we think you will really like it when things settle down.

Hi Fancy! I would say you and your new mommy shouldn't worry yet, it seems it's only been a day or two since she got you. I think if she keeps you guys isolated with just supervised visits for a week or so the tension will die down. My furriend Castle just went through the same problem, you might want to check out his blog at castlepants.blogspot.com

Fancy dear, I will be your friend. So will my sister Tipper and my brothers George & Max.
When I was adopted 2 years ago, I was very sick too and had to take icky medicine. But I got better real quick and have been fine ever since. I'm sure you'll be fine after you take your icky stuff too.
Your new friend
Misty
Hi Fancy! **waves paw**
You are very pretty with all your black furs. I would love to be your friend and I am sure that your brothers will learn to love you very soon. Then they will spoil you lots and lots and lots!
What a pretty girl you are fancy. Your brofers will think so too, all in good time. Meanwhile, I hope I can be a good furriend to you!
Hi!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy you have a warm and loving home.
Yay!!!! I love to hear good news like this.
You cold will get better. All of my babies had it too. Hang in there. I know the medicine can be a pain but it will protect you from yucky bacterias.
You are a very pretty kitty cat.
We love you!
Hi Fancy! You sure are a pretty little cat! You hang in there and before you know it those Cheezits cats will be playing and snuggling with you. Take it easy and be a good girl and take your medicine and you'll feel much better soon.
acorse I will be yur fwiend. I luv all noo kittehs.
Hello, Fancy! You sure are a purrty little panther! We'd love to be your friends! Give Colby and Chedder a little time, they'll come around.
Fancy, you is a beautiful girl!!!! It will just take time for the cheezits to realize you're their sisfur. It happens wif all kitties that get bringed into a house wif ofur kitties. the hissy stuff will stop.
we is so sorry you is sick honey! but we knows you has a wonderful home and fambly so you will start feeling better really soon!
we would be honored to be your furriends
Hi Fancy - of course I will be your friend. I don't have any advice for getting along with others because i have been by myself for 13 years with mom, but I am sure things will get better soon.
Hi, Fancy! I'll certainly be your furiend. I'm new here, too. I have one new brother, but he's older and bigger than me. We got along almost right away, but that's very unusual. Just stay away from the boys for a week or more while they get used to your scent. And don't give them your cold! A little fighting is normal because you're invading their territory, but it won't be serious and won't last long.
Your new people can help the boys adjust by putting their food near the door to your room and, once you are out, they can get treats for being nice around you! In no time, they might even let you lick their faces and ears. Try purring at them.
I also suggest, from personal experience, finding places you can go that they can't. I can squeeze under furniture when I want to be alone since Victor's HUGE compared to me. Good luck!
Purrs and licks,
Nina
Hi Fancy!
How nice to meet you. And how nice for you to have been adopted by the Cheezits' mum. Hope your cold gets better soon. It may take a few weeks but I'm sure those boys will learn to get along with you. That is sad that your brother got adopted away from you. I was in the shelter with my sister but we both got adopted together, but then she had to go to the Bridge. Oh well, didn't mean to go on, just to wish you well in your new home!

Fancy, how nice to meet you! I hope you feel better furry furry soon.
You are a lucky little lady to have a furrever home! Lots and lots of us were 'dopted. And we love our homes, too.
Take it slow, little one, and take your medicine. You will be better soon. And your new brothers will soon be big pushovers. And you will love playing thundering herds with them!
Fancy is a beautiful kitty. Come on guys, give her a chance.....we can say that cause our mama hasn't brought home a new kitty.
Hugs & Purrs,
Sammy, Festus & Emma
Hi, Fancy. It's nice to meet you. I would love to be your friend. I hope you get over your cold soon. I think Cheddar and Colby just need some time to get used to you.
Aw Fancy, you're so sweet & pretty. Those boys will soon come round - it always takes a little while. Before you know it you will all be getting along. When my bean adopted me from the Cats Home it took time for us to get aquainted- now though we love each other very much & spend all our time together.
With purrs to you, the boys, & your beans,
Mr Woo xx
Welcome, Fancy! You couldn't have picked a better home. We hope you're feeling better soon, and that the Cheezits stop picking on you.
I gave you guys an award - check out my blog : )

PS> Thanks for the purrs and support when Mommy wuz in the hosspittul. She is home and still has a ways to go to be all heeled up but for now things are good.
hello, pretty girl! of course we'll be yer furriends, me especially, since i was "left behind" too, although not in quite the same way.
we are so happy that you picked out such nice beans to go lif wif furrever. these folks will NOT leaf you behind--furrever means furrever to them. those growly boys will get ofur it, too. just keep bein' your own sweet self; an' gif 'em a snootful of claws if they get pushy. they thinks they rules the roost, but remember whose hand doles out the treats & foods. THAT's the one you needs to thank an' love on.
purrs an' best fishes,
