"Phantom Prey"? Is that 'bout birdies or fishies? Mom is a high school Reading teacher, but she doesn't let us read many of her books 'cept the Harry Potter ones 'cuz we're FANS. DMM
hi guys, nice to meet you all & thx for dropping by at our place:)
we're so happy to know you;)
hmmm...trying to read book? well, we teach our mommy how to do it fast & absorb all its content quickly without even have to read all through the pages.....by sitting on it & place our butts on the book cover:))
Once, we were just two scared little kittens, clinging to our mother. We must have been very poor, because we weren't very clean or healthy and we had (this is so embarrassing) worms and stuff. We lived day-to-day, and we both remember being very hungry, all the time.
It seemed like we were barely old enough to walk when we were taken away from our mother and brought to a strange place, with lots of other cats (and big scary dogs!). We didn't know why, or what we had done. This place became known to us only as the Shelter.
So, there we were: at the Shelter, in a cage, cuddled together, keeping our spirits up and waiting for a chance to escape, not knowing what else to do, when a surprising new face came to see us.
She smiled at us, and looked us over without poking her fingers in our faces. She made sure our itchy ears were cleaned and those embarrassing worms were taken care of. And she didn't put us back into the cage.
Instead, she took us to a new, totally different place. A place where we have lots of food to eat and fresh water to drink. A place where there's always clean litter. Where there are toys to chase and soft places to sleep.
And we learned a new word.
That word is, "Home."
We are Colby and Cheddar. And this is our story.

Very cute! Are you checking out the book?
What was you reading? Anything good?
Mom was reading "Phantom Prey" by John Sandford. We sniffed it, but it doesn't smell like something good to eat!
You might be a little bit too young to read yet.
Well you'll have to tell us what you are reading...

whatcha reading? something good about birdies right?
it looks like you had a great weekend! i love your stash of treats. very clever (i think ziplox is chewable too...) of you both!
you are very helpful and sweet kitties too. We love your meme.
Oh, an intellect!
We are too little to read, so when a book doesn't have pickshurs, we tries to get Mom to put it down!
But Cheddar is going around feeling all proud now because you think he is an intellect!
Haha! Cheddar, are you going to lecture us now about smarty pants stuff?
The only fing I ever read is the riot act... to the woofies and Macy.
You're both so cute!

Looks like you're reading something. Hopefully it was entertaining and informative :)
Dat doesn't look like a good book to sleep on, maybe if it were laying flat.
